Chris W. Acker

Proposed VP & COO of First City Bank

I decided to join the team at First City Bank to help build a true community bank for Alpharetta and North Atlanta. A bank where you know your bankers REAL name. A bank where phone calls and emails are answered by REAL people. And a bank that pours back into the local community with REAL service, REAL investment, and REAL impact. I chose First City Bank to bring back REAL community banking!

Chris W. Acker is the proposed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for The Bank. Chris is a Mercer University alum earning the title of “Double Bear”, obtaining his bachelor's degree in communication in 2003 and then his master's degree in criminal justice in 2019. In 2023 he completed the Georgia Bankers Association’s Banking School, a three-year program, as an Honor Graduate. Throughout his almost thirty-year career, Chris has sat on various chamber boards, non-profit boards, and other community related organizations in West Georgia. He has assisted in the startup of two de novo banks during his career, performing duties and managing areas of Information Technology, Information Security, Electronic Banking, Branch Administration, Business Continuity, Security, Fraud, and Risk.
