Richard Jones is a retired banking partner with Mauldin & Jenkins, a regional accounting firm. Richard specialized in the financial institution industry providing auditing, tax and consulting services for 37 years and the last 28 years as a banking partner.
While with the Firm Richard lead the Audit & Accounting and SEC Practices for most of his career and served on the Firm’s Executive Committee for 12 years. Richard assisted numerous de novo banks throughout his career and “lived” the banking crisis in Georgia. Richard received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida and began his career with Mauldin & Jenkins in 1983. Richard is a consultant with Armagh Capital and holds the position of Managing Director, Institutional Sales, where he continues to work with financial institutions. Richard enjoys spending time with his wife, hiking, playing tennis, fishing and all types of hunting with his granddaughter.
